This feels a bit counterintuitive somehow. Although I truly know nothing about this...

Re: "The hardest part about fasting is tolerating the emotions that come up when you’re hungry and tolerating hunger." --- Yes, this is a big problem, even after years of intermittent fasting. As long as you recognize it, and know what to do, it should be fine. I usually go outside and get some fresh air... and find 'awe' to balance those emotions. haha

I am loving the 'synchronicity'! I am working on a draft on 'energy'. I have been doing intermittent fasting for most of my life, simply because I don't need breakfast. I eat dinner around 6pm on most nights and then I don't eat until the next day around noon or later. I know that everyone is different, so please don't do it because it works for someone else. It works for me, and from what I know, fasting is the best way to prevent cancer. Avoiding sugar is also important. I will write more on my substack soon, but in short, my friends always notice my 'energy'. I think my 'secret' is intermittent fasting habit + avoiding sugar (although I eat sweets with maple syrup or real honey) + eating sourdough bread + having 'awe' in my life. XO

Wow! Actually been trying to re- set my eating habits. Definitely less healthy eating times than yours. Come home late from work sometimes so used to have a heavy dinner later. Been advised to avoid gluten. Does sourdough bread contain gluten? One meal a day works wonders definitely!! XO
