This post talks about the insights from the book I bought some time ago - Creating Freedom by Raoul Martinez

As stated in the book, privilege means ‘private law’
From https://www.etymonline.com/word/law , on 20 Aug 2024, law means in
"Old English lagu (plural laga, combining form lah-) "ordinance, rule prescribed by authority, regulation; district governed by the same laws;" also sometimes "right, legal privilege," from Old Norse *lagu "law," collective plural of lag "layer, measure, stroke," literally "something laid down, that which is fixed or set."
Hmm….what are your thoughts? Do you trust the law? I generally trust the law.

In Sanskrit, Hebrew, Aramaic, “debt”, “guilt” and “sin” are the same word - pointed out in the book, Creating Freedom.
Quote from book, Creating Freedom: “ But taking on debt, for nations as well as individuals is often an act of desperation. "
This reminds me of the necessity to keep my finances/ funds in order and not stretch my funds/finances. When I read money management books, they are often quite boring and hard to imbue in everyday life. Reading this quote was just like a sponge-absorbing moment. There’s a lot of things said about borrowing money to start businesses. Personally, have no particular take on it as am not facing the decision right now.

The book, Creating Freedom by Raoul Martinez is a rather comprehensive take on a wide variety of issues. Interestingly, it talks about various psychological techniques employed by rulers and the media. One of the most enlightening books I have enjoyed reading.
